'Hurt Locker' is best picture, wins six Oscars

Who:
James Cameron.
James Cameron--He didn't receive the prize like he wanted, instead "The Hurt Locker" took home the prize.
It won more Oscars then Avatar due, the judges at the award Academy.

What:
"Hurt Locker" Was getting the award at the Annual Award Academy.
It did win it. Kathryn Bigelow made history by becoming the first woman to win the directing prize.
James Cameron's "Avatar," doesn't win.
A women finally wins the award.

When:
"The Hurt Locker," a film about a bomb disposal unit in the early part of the Iraq War, developed its momentum slowly, winning notice at festivals in the latter part of 2008 before earning a national release in the summer of 2009.

Where:
New York-N.Y.

Why:
Because the writer of the movie wanted to win an Oscar finally, it was a she who wanted to be the first winner who was female.

How:
She beats the maker of the movie "Avatar".

It affects everyone-world wide.
I like the idea, a women finally winning a movie Oscar for a movie, great job and awesome!
